Hello and welcome to my website and online store, Douglas James Designs, LLC. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Sherry Blair and I have been creating my own personal works of art, holiday decorations, craft projects, and fashionable ribbon hair accessories for years. Only recently did I form a business to begin marketing my unique hair bows, charm barrettes, headbands, fabric flowers, and other accessories as well as my artwork to the general public. I specialize in creating handmade and sewn fashion hair jewelry, bows, clips, barrettes, headbands and other hair accessories with available coordinating handmade tutus (for all the ballerinas). I use a variety of materials and fabrics including Czech glass, acrylic, clay, plastic, wood, and metal beads as well as Pandora style beads and DaVinci beads.

Many bows are also adorned with Swarovski crystals, feathers, charms, and buttons. Fabric choices include satin, chiffon, organza, tulle, and denim. If you see a style of hair accessory you love but would prefer a different pattern or color combination, just contact me and let me know; I will be more than happy to accommodate your request. Additionally, I enjoy creating holiday decorations such as creepy spiders for Halloween and festive snowmen for the winter holidays. Likewise, I can create custom artwork, either oil paintings or wall murals* to compliment your existing home or office decor.
*On site murals are primarily limited to the St. Louis, Missouri metropolitan area. Requests for work in other locales will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
